Woodland management is vital for biodiversity, and natural fuel resources.
Cutting back bramble and small shoots of tree trunks provides a good habitat for wildlife,including seasonal plants such as bluebells.
This type of tree management is known as COPPICING.
Woodland care is also beneficial to the people that like to roam and rummage.
It is good for our well-being when wild woodland has been opened up and the surrounding area created from the natural resources is evident.
LIGHT
Light is an important source of woodland care, and , a natural formation relevant for good growth of trees, and the floor itself.
Certain species of plants depend on this light, and in turn, regenerates for different species of animals such as birds and insects.
ANCIENT WOODLAND
Keeping ancient woodland alive by management includes the harvesting of timber which is used for fuel fodder and other energy resources.
The carbon released from the harvesting of trees is vital for healthy productivity of respiration of trees.
